At Connected Chiropractic we provide gentle and thorough chiropractic treatments in a caring and relaxed environment to facilitate your healing.

What to expect:

First Examination

Your first visit will include a thorough initial chiropractic exam of your spine and body. The doctor will take time to provide a detailed health history to have a productive discussion about your pain management and specific health needs to come up with a plan specific for you.

In-Depth Explanation

Depending on what symptoms you are showing, as well as your individual needs and personal preferences, you would then receive your first adjustment.

In some cases, X-rays may be desired and the patient would be sent out to have X-rays done before their first treatment.

Discuss Your Options

We pride ourselves in personally-tailored service. The style of your chiropractic adjustments will be based on your needs, and preparation for adjustments will be well detailed and agreed upon with you before beginning any adjustments.

Your comfort and safety is always our first priority.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my chiropractic adjustments hurt?

There are people who say they feel a bit sore or tender after an adjustment. It is perfectly normal for this sensation to last 2 hours up to 2 days but the discomfort should be progressively less and less over time.

Will I have to keep coming back to the chiropractor?

The choice is always yours.

Our patients not only enjoy their treatments but come to understand that regular adjustments help to maintain their spinal alignment and proper function. We take the time to educate our patients so they learn the reasons for making follow up or regular maintenance visits and then the choice is still yours to make if you would like to book again or not.

We are here to serve you!

I don’t like manual cracking and crunching adjustments, can you do something else?

Dr. Tandrea utilizes several chiropractic techniques including muscle therapies and many gentle instrument style spinal adjustments and manual chiropractic techniques. Dr. Tandrea will always specialize your treatment to your personal preferences and what works best for your body.

Do you take insurance?

Many extended insurance benefits will cover a certain dollar amount of chiropractic care. We encourage you to check with your plan before your appointment as we are able to direct bill to most major insurance plans. Unfortunately the BC government does not cover any part of chiropractic fees.

Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

No, you do not.

“Dr. Rowan’s treatments were gentle and very thorough. She always made sure that she had covered all the issues that I had going in.

I would tell her going into my treatment that I was "mangled" and always left feeling awesome.

She is a great chiropractor.”
